Maple-nut bread

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2½ cup Flour
1 cup Sugar
3 teaspoons Baking powder
½ teaspoon Salt
1 Egg, well beaten
1 cup Milk
¾ teaspoon Maple syrup
1 cup Chopped nuts

Sift together dry ingredients, add milk, egg, and syrup. Mix only until dry ingredients are moistened. Stir in nuts. Pour into well greased loaf pan. Let stand 20 minutes. Bake 1 hour at 350 F.
