Ingredients

| 1½ | cup | Flour |
| ¼ | cup | Brown sugar |
| ½ | cup | Butter |
| 1 | cup | Maple syrup |
| ⅔ | cup | (1/3 maple 1/3 brown) sugar |
| 2 | Eggs (beaten) | |
| 2 | tablespoons | Flour |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
| ½ | teaspoon | Vanilla |
| 1 | cup | Walnuts (chopped) |
Directions
Combine flour, ¼ C sugar and butter in bowl. With fork, mix until consistency of fine corn meal. Press mix into greased 9 x 13" pan.
Bake at 350ø for 15 minutes. Combine ⅔ C sugar and syrup in small saucepan. Simmer 5 minutes. Pour over beaten eggs, stirring constantly. Stir in remaining ingredients, except nuts. Pour mix over baked crust. Sprinkle with nuts and bake at 350ø for 20 - 25 minutes.
Cool in pan and cut in bars.
