Maple syrup cookies

Yield: 50 servings

Measure Ingredient
1⅛ cup Maple syrup
½ cup Butter or margarine --
Melted
2 Eggs
1⅛ teaspoon Vanilla extract
3⅛ cup All-purpose flour
1⅛ teaspoon Baking powder
¼ teaspoon Salt
½ cup Milk
½ cup Seedless raisins or chopped
Nuts

Cream together syrup and butter. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.

Heat oven to 400 F. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add milk and flour mixture alternately to syrup mixture. Fold in raisins or nuts. Drop from a 5ml measure about 5 cm apart onto greased baking sheet. Bake in 400 F oven for 10 minutes.
