Yield: 50 servings
|1⅛ cup||Maple syrup|
|½ cup||Butter or margarine --|
|1⅛ teaspoon||Vanilla extract|
|3⅛ cup||All-purpose flour|
|1⅛ teaspoon||Baking powder|
|½ cup||Seedless raisins or chopped|
Cream together syrup and butter. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
Heat oven to 400 F. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add milk and flour mixture alternately to syrup mixture. Fold in raisins or nuts. Drop from a 5ml measure about 5 cm apart onto greased baking sheet. Bake in 400 F oven for 10 minutes.
