New maple syrup cake

Directions

Follow either recipe for Large Cake above, except substitute 1 cup maple syrup for 1 cup of the the sugar (use only ½ cup sugar.) Decrease milk to ½ cup. Add the syrup with it. Omit vanilla.

Blend in 1⅕ cup cut up butternuts (or other nuts). Bake. Cool.
