Macaroni and hot dog casserole

2 | tablespoons | Shortening |
1 | large | Onion, diced |
1½ | quart | Tomato juice |
1 | pounds | Hot dogs, cut up |
1 | Beef bouillon cube | |
1 | pack | (1 lb) macaroni |
Directions
Saute onions and shortening together until onion is clear, add diced hotdogs. Add tomato juice and bouillon cube; simmer while macaroni cooks.
Cook macaroni until done; drain, add to tomato juice and hot dogs. Makes large iron skillet full.
