Louisiana chili

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 Onion; chopped
1 Bell pepper; chopped
2 Ribs celery; chopped
3 tablespoons Cooking oil
1½ pounds Lean hamburger meat
2 tablespoons Flour
2 tablespoons Chili powder
1½ teaspoon Salt
⅛ teaspoon Pepper
2 cans Tomatoes (up to)
2 cans Kidney beans

In a heavy skillet, saut‚ onions, bell peppers and celery; add ground meat and brown lightly. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 60 minutes.

Serves 6 to 8.
