Libby's famous homemade pumpkin pie

Measure Ingredient
2 eaches Eggs,slightly beaten
¼ teaspoon Ground cloves
1¾ can (16 oz) solid pack pumpkin
¾ cup Sugar
½ teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon Ground ginger
1½ can (12 oz.) evaporated milk
1 each 9\" unbaked pie crust
1 pack Ready-whip topping

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.Combine filling ingredients in order given;pour into pie shell.Bake 15 minutes.Reduce temperature to 350 degrees.Bake an additional 45 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.Cool;garnish with ready-whip topping.
