Lettuce dish (gemusesalat)

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
4 slices Bacon
1 \N Onion -or-
4 \N Scallions, sliced
¼ cup Cidar vinegar
1 tablespoon Sugar
½ teaspoon Salt
⅛ teaspoon Black pepper
1½ quart Shredded lettuce
2 \N Hard cooked eggs, sliced

Saute bacon until crisp. Remove. Crumble. Reserve. Brown onion in bacon drippings. Add vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Pour over lettuce. toss. Garnish with crumbled bacon and sliced eggs.
