Lemon squares #2

Yield: 24 Servings

Measure Ingredient
¾ cup Butter or margarine
¾ cup Powdered sugar
1½ cup Flour
3 tablespoons Fresh lemon juice (1/2 lemon)
1 \N Lemon; rind of
3 \N Eggs
1½ cup Sugar
3 tablespoons Flour
1 teaspoon Baking powder
\N \N Chopped nuts; optional

Date: 14 Apr 1994 17:37:45 -0400 Part 1: Mix until crumbly (fingers work the best); pat mixture into 9 x 13" pan; bake at 350 degrees 12 mins. - don't let it brown too much.

Part 2, mix together all ingredients. Pour over baked & cooled crust & bake 15-20 mins. (350) Sift powdered sugar over top after baked. Cut into pieces while still somewhat warm.
