Lemon slice

Yield: 36 Squares

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Graham crumbs
½ cup Butter or margarine
½ cup Sugar
¾ cup Sugar
⅓ cup Flour
1 tablespoon Water
3 \N Egg yolks
3 tablespoons Lemon juice
3 \N Egg whites
1 \N Handful graham crumbs



~---- First Layer ----- 1. Crumble all 3 ingredients together until mealy and press into clean 9"x9" pan. Bake at 350F for 10 mins.

~---- Second Layer ----- 2. In double boiler, combine all ingredients and cook and stir until thickened.

3. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into hot mixture. Spread over base and sprinkle top with crumbs.

4. Bake at 350F for 3 mins or until set.
