Ingredients

QuantityIngredient
2Cloves garlic; pressed
1cupSalad oil
cupWine vinegar
Salt & pepper to taste
6Bunches leaf lettuce; washed & torn into bite size pieces
1Purple onion; sliced
3Tomatoes; cut into quarters

Directions

Put first 4 ingredients into large wooden salad bowl and beat with a wire whisk. Combine dressing with lettuce and onions. Serve on chilled plates, garnished with tomato quarters. LE MONT
