Lasagna #05

Yield: 8 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds Ground beef
1 medium Onion; chopped
1 can Tomato paste
1 can Whole tomatoes
1 can Tomato sauce
\N \N Salt & pepper to taste
1 tablespoon Oregano
1 pack Lasagna noodles
2 cups Medium white sauce
3 ounces Romano cheese; grated

Brown ground beef; add onions and cook until clear. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato sauce, salt and pepper, oregano; simmer about 40 minutes.

Cook noodles according to package directions; drain.

Add cheese to white sauce; simmer until cheese melts. In a baking dish, make layer of noodles, a layer of meat tomato mixture and a layer of cheese sauce. Repeat layers at least once more, if possible twice more. The last cheese layer can be Mozzarella cheese, if desired. Bake in a 350 degree oven until bubbly and cheese is melted. This recipe freezes well.
