| 2 | teaspoons | Baking powder |
| 1 | teaspoon | Almond extract |

Directions
Beat sugar and eggs until thoroughly blended and cream in color.
Mix flour, salt and baking powder; sift slowly into egg mixture.
keep beating until smooth creamy consistency is obtained. Butter cookie pans generously and sprinkle with light flour. Drop batter by spoonfuls, shaping about 3 inch long by 1 inch wide. Place 2 inches apart and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
