Lady finger cake

Measure Ingredient
2 packs Lady fingers
8 ounces Cool Whip
8 ounces Cream cheese
1 cup Powdered sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 can Cherry or your favorite pie filling

Notes: By Pat Haydt, Lehighton. The Times News, PA (Cream) cream cheese, add Cool Whip, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Mix all ingredients until smooth and creamy. (If it is stiff, then add a little milk so you can spread over lady fingers.) Line 9x12 oblong pan with 1 pkg.

of lady fingers. Spread ½ of cheese and Cool Whip mixture over them. Then place second pkg. of lady fingers on top, then spread remaining cheese and Cool Whip. Top with your favorite pie filling. Place in refrigerator for several hours.
