Hot rough tomato soup

Ingredients

2tablespoonsGhee
1largeOnion, coarsely chopped
1smallPotato, cubed
¾cupTomato paste
cupVegetable stock
1pinchThyme
2smallsDried red chilies, chopped
6eachesWhole cloves
12eachesPeppercorns
3eachesBay leaves
Salt

Directions

Skin the tomatoes & cut into chunks. Melt ghee in pot over medium-low heat & cook onion till it turns golden. Add the rest of the ingredients, adding enough salt to taste. Simmer for 45 minutes.
