Ingredients

1can(16-oz) sliced peaches; drained
1can(16-oz) pear halves; drained, chopped
1can(16-oz) purple plums; drained, pitted
1can(20-oz) pineapple chunks; drained
1Jar (6-oz) maraschino cherries; drained
2Bananas; sliced
¾cupBrown sugar
cupButter or margarine
1can(16-oz) applesauce
3tablespoonsBrown sugar
½cupChopped pecans

Directions

Combine first six ingredients in 13x9x2-inch casserole. Set aside. Combine sugar, butter & applesauce in saucepan & heat thoroughly, stirring occasionally. Spoon over fruit. Sprinkle with brown sugar & pecans. Bake at 300 for 1 hour. Serve hot. (May be prepared ahead & frozen. To serve, thaw overnight in refrigerator.) Serves 12.
