Hot dog apple salad

Ingredients

2cupsElbow macaroni; cooked according to package directions
6Hot dog; sized McIntosh Apples;
2tablespoonsLemon juice;
4Stacks pascal celery;
1teaspoonCelery seed;
¼cupParsley; finely chopped
1cupDairy sour cream;
½teaspoonSalt;
1teaspoonPrepared mustard;
6Lettuce cups;

Directions

Drian the macaroni and set aside. Cut the hot dogs up into ¼" cubes. Add the macaroni and mix well. Peel and core the apples. Cut into ½" cubes. Drench with lemon juice and set aside for 5 minutes; then add to the marconi mixture. Cut the celery diagonally into 1/16" slices. Add to the macaroni mixture. Add the chopped onion, celery seed and the parsley. Mix all well. In a separate bowl, mix the sour cream, salt and mustard until well blended. Pour this mixture over the hot dog-mixture. Turn the mixture over several times until all is well mixed and evenly flavored. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Serve in lettuce cups. Source: The New HotDog Cookbook by Mettja C.
