Hot dog apple salad

Ingredients

| 2 | cups | Elbow macaroni; cooked according to package directions |
| 6 | Hot dog; sized McIntosh Apples; | |
| 2 | tablespoons | Lemon juice; |
| 4 | Stacks pascal celery; | |
| 1 | teaspoon | Celery seed; |
| ¼ | cup | Parsley; finely chopped |
| 1 | cup | Dairy sour cream; |
| ½ | teaspoon | Salt; |
| 1 | teaspoon | Prepared mustard; |
| 6 | Lettuce cups; | |
Directions
Drian the macaroni and set aside. Cut the hot dogs up into ¼" cubes. Add the macaroni and mix well. Peel and core the apples. Cut into ½" cubes. Drench with lemon juice and set aside for 5 minutes; then add to the marconi mixture. Cut the celery diagonally into 1/16" slices. Add to the macaroni mixture. Add the chopped onion, celery seed and the parsley. Mix all well. In a separate bowl, mix the sour cream, salt and mustard until well blended. Pour this mixture over the hot dog-mixture. Turn the mixture over several times until all is well mixed and evenly flavored. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Serve in lettuce cups. Source: The New HotDog Cookbook by Mettja C.
