Hot dill pickles
1 Gallon
Ingredients

| 1 | gallon | Cucumbers |
| 1½ | tablespoon | Mustard seed |
| 1½ | teaspoon | Alum |
| 1 | small | Onion |
| 2 | Cloves garlic | |
| 3 | Hot peppers | |
| 1 | Dill head | |
| 1 | quart | Vinegar |
| 3 | quarts | Water |
| 1 | cup | Salt |
Directions
Put first seven ingredients into jars. Bring last three ingredients to a boil together and then pour into previously prepared jars. Seal.
Open in 3 to 4 weeks.
