Homemade sin

Yield: 6 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 pack (14 oz) caramels
⅔ cup Canned evaporated milk, divided
1 \N German chocolate cake mix, or light chocolate cake mix
¾ cup Margarine
1 cup Chopped nuts
1 cup Chocolate chips

Mix and melt caramels with ⅓ cup evaporated milk, stirring often.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Separately. combine cake mix with margarine, ⅓ cup evaporated milk (or more if needed) and nuts.

Place half the mixture into a greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake 6 minutes, Sprinkle baked mixture wit chocolate chips, then spread with caramel mixture. Spread remaining mixture on top. Bake 15 to 18 minutes. Let cool then cut into squares.
