Hoisin bbq spare ribs (hoi sin siu haau paai gwat)

Ingredients

| 2 | pounds | Pork spareribs; one piece |
| ½ | cup | Soy sauce |
| ¼ | cup | Liquid honey |
| ¼ | cup | Hoisin sauce |
| ¼ | cup | Vinegar |
| ¼ | cup | Chicken stock |
| 2 | tablespoons | Chinese cooking wine |
| 1 | tablespoon | Garlic; minced |
Directions
1. Mix soy sauce, honey, hoisin sauce, vinegar, stock, cooking wine and chopped garlic. Pour over spareribs.
2. Marinate 3 hours at room temperature or overnight in the refrigerator.
3. Preheat oven to 500F. Place ribs on rack over drip pan in oven, reduce heat to 350F and roast for 1 hour.
