Hogan's ultimate pasta salad

Yield: 12 servings

Measure Ingredient

16 ounces Three Spiral Pasta
8 ounces Tortellini, cheese-filled
½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
½ cup Cheddar cheese, grated
⅛ cup Black olives, chopped
⅛ cup Carrots, shredded
¾ cup Bell pepper, diced
1 cup Peas
¾ cup Red onion, diced
1½ cup Tomatoes, diced
½ cup Dill, fresh, chopped
1 cup Ham, cubed small
2 eaches Eggs, hard-boiled
1 tablespoon Salad oil
\N \N === DRESSING ===
1 tablespoon Salad oil
3 tablespoons Red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon Lemon juice
1 cup Mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Garlic, fresh, minced
1 tablespoon Basil, fresh, minced
1 tablespoon Oregano, fresh, minced
¾ teaspoon Dry mustard for dressing
\N \N Salt to taste for dressing
\N \N Pepper to taste for dressing


Boil pasta according to package directions; drain, then cool.

Heat salad oil in skillet and add the bell peppers and saute until just becoming tender.

Mix all other "salad" ingredients together, then add the sauteed bell peppers, also.

Prepare "dressing" then mix in with "salad".

Toss well, cover and chill.
