Habanero citrus shrimp

Ingredients

3poundsLarge Tiger shrimp; shelled and deveined
4ouncesTequilla
4largesLimes; juice only
1bunchFresh cilantro*; cleaned and chopped
1ounceOlive oil
2Oranges or tangerines; zest only
2Dried habaneros; crushed
1tablespoonBrown sugar
Citrus fruit pieces; for skewer
Garlic cloves; for skewer
Onion pieces; for skewer

Directions

1. Combine all ingredients in a non metalic bowl except shrimp - mix well.

2. Marinate shrimp for 1 hour (not longer of they willbecome mushy.

3. After marinating the shrimp, skewer with onions and cloves of garlic,chunks of oranges, limes and other citrus fruits as desired..

4. Barbeque quickly on hot grill until shrimp turn pink and curl slightly.

Notes: * If you dislike cilantro, use parsely instead.
