Tropical shrimp

Measure Ingredient
½ cup Butter; (1 stick)
⅓ cup Amaretto; (almond-flavored
\N \N ; liqueur)
⅓ cup Sliced almonds
2 teaspoons Sugar
½ teaspoon Ground cinnamon
⅛ teaspoon Cayenne pepper
1 pounds Large shrimp; peeled and
\N \N ; deveined, tails
\N \N ; left on

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the amaretto, almonds, sugar, cinnamon, and cayenne pepper and stir until the sugar dissolves. Add the shrimp and cook for 3 to 5 minutes, just until pink.

Serve immediately.

NOTE: I like to serve this over hot cooked rice so I can savor every last bit of the amaretto sauce. Mmm mmm! Converted by MC_Buster.
