Grilled marinated steak and vegetables

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 pounds Boneless steak (top round; sirloin or flank)
1 cup Italian salad dressing; divided
12 ounces Large; fresh white Monterey Mushrooms cut in half (about 3-3/4 cups)
1 large Red onion; cut in 8 wedges
2 smalls Zucchini; cut in 1-inch slices (about 2 cups)
8 larges Cherry tomatoes

Marinate steak in ½ cup of the salad dressing for 15 minutes. Place in the center of preheated broiler rack or grill. Discard marinade. Cook steak about 5 minutes; turn. Place fresh mushrooms, onion and zucchini around steak. Brush vegetables lightly with Italian dressing. Cook until meat is done as desired and vegetables are tender, adding tomatoes a few minutes before steak is done. Let steak stand for 5 minutes before carving. Toss vegetables in any remaining dressing. Yield: 6 portions.
