Green salad with apple and bacon

Ingredients

1Head lettuce (or combo of various different kinds)
2Carrots, diced
1Red apple, diced (with skin)
½cupShredded cheddar cheese
4Sliced cooked bacon, crumbled
%%%%% VINAIGRETTE %%%%%
½cupOlive oil
2tablespoonsRed wine vinegar
½teaspoonDry mustard
¼teaspoonDried oregano
1pinchOf granulated sugar
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Combine together, and allow to chill for at least 1 hour.

In chilled bowl, break up lettuce into bite sized pieces. Add the diced carrots and apple. Toss. Drizzle over top of salad, and toss gently to coat. Sprinkle the cheese and bacon over top just prior to serving. Makes 4-6 servings.
