Green peppercorn ham spread

Ingredients

| 1 | pounds | Smoked ham, minced |
| 1 | cup | Shredded Cheddar cheese |
| ½ | cup | Ground walnuts |
| ¼ | cup | Minced onions |
| ½ | cup | Mayonnaise or salad dressing |
| 3 | tablespoons | Drained peppercorns* |
| 1 | tablespoon | Minced parsley |
| ½ | teaspoon | Dijon-style mustard |
| ⅛ | teaspoon | Ground white pepper |
| Wheat crackers | ||
Directions
Combine all ingredients except crackers until blended; refrigerate several hours for flavors to blend. Spoon mixture into serving bowl; serve with crackers. *Peppercorns are available in large supermarkets and specialty food shops. Spread can be made 3 days in advance; refrigerate covered.
