Goebel's special sauerkraut

Ingredients

| 2 | cans | (16-ounce) sauerkraut |
| ½ | cup | Sugar |
| 1 | cup | Dark German beer |
| 2 | Bay leaves | |
Directions
Combine all the ingredients in a slow cooker and cook until the sauerkraut achieves a very creamy texture. Add more beer if it seems to be drying out.
Remove bay leaves and serve hot.
