Ginger baste for pork

Ingredients

| ⅔ | cup | Brown sugar |
| 2 | tablespoons | Cornstarch |
| 2 | teaspoons | Freshly grated ginger root |
| 2 | eaches | Cloves garlic, crushed |
| ¼ | cup | Wine vinegar |
| ⅔ | cup | Soy sauce |
| ¼ | teaspoon | MSG (Optional) |
Directions
Combine ingedients thoroughly until sugar is dissolved. Let stand for at least 1 hour to blend flavors before using. Stir well before brushing on pork during cooking.
