Ginger baste for pork

Ingredients

cupBrown sugar
2tablespoonsCornstarch
2teaspoonsFreshly grated ginger root
2eachesCloves garlic, crushed
¼cupWine vinegar
cupSoy sauce
¼teaspoonMSG (Optional)

Directions

Combine ingedients thoroughly until sugar is dissolved. Let stand for at least 1 hour to blend flavors before using. Stir well before brushing on pork during cooking.
