Ginger baste for pork

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
⅔ cup Brown sugar
2 tablespoons Cornstarch
2 teaspoons Freshly grated ginger root
2 eaches Cloves garlic, crushed
¼ cup Wine vinegar
⅔ cup Soy sauce
¼ teaspoon MSG (Optional)

Combine ingedients thoroughly until sugar is dissolved. Let stand for at least 1 hour to blend flavors before using. Stir well before brushing on pork during cooking.
