Gardener guy's mom's buttermilk cornbread

Ingredients

| ⅔ | cup | Yellow cornmeal |
| ⅔ | cup | White cornmeal |
| 1 | teaspoon | Baking powder |
| 1 | teaspoon | Baking soda |
| 2 | teaspoons | Sugar |
| 2 | Eggs; slightly beaten | |
| 2 | cups | Buttermilk |
| 3 | tablespoons | Melted butter |
| 2 | teaspoons | Vegetable oil; for iron skillet |
Directions
Mix dry ingredients. Add eggs, buttermilk, and butter. Mix well. Heat oil in cast-iron skillet. Pour batter into hot skillet and bake at 400 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown. Serves 8.
