Frozen chocolate dessert

Yield: 12 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Vanilla wafer crumbs
2 \N Squares melted chocolate
⅔ cup Butter or margarine
2 \N Eggs; separated
2 cups Powdered sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 cup Chopped nuts
½ gallon On butter pecan or other flavor ice cream

Melt butter & chocolate. Add sugar, egg yolks, nuts & vanilla. Beat egg whites until stiff; fold into chocolate mixture. Spread crumbs in bottom of 9x14-inch pan. Pour chocolate mixture over crumbs & freeze 2 hours. Spread softened ice cream over chocolate & sprinkle wafer crumbs over top. Freeze until serving time.
