Measure | Ingredient |

1 cup | Vanilla wafer crumbs |
2 \N | Squares melted chocolate |
⅔ cup | Butter or margarine |
2 \N | Eggs; separated |
2 cups | Powdered sugar |
1 teaspoon | Vanilla |
1 cup | Chopped nuts |
½ gallon | On butter pecan or other flavor ice cream |
Melt butter & chocolate. Add sugar, egg yolks, nuts & vanilla. Beat egg whites until stiff; fold into chocolate mixture. Spread crumbs in bottom of 9x14-inch pan. Pour chocolate mixture over crumbs & freeze 2 hours. Spread softened ice cream over chocolate & sprinkle wafer crumbs over top. Freeze until serving time.
