Four fruit ice cream

Ingredients

teaspoonSalt
1can(small) evaporated milk
½pintWhipping cream; not whipped
1quartHomogenized milk
1can(flat can) crushed pineapple; undrained
2largesBananas; crushed in blender
2Oranges; juice of
2Lemons; juice of
1Lemon rind; grated (optional)

Directions

Mix sugar, salt, milk, evaporated milk and cream in a one gallon container of ice cream maker. Freeze according to maker's direction to the soft stage. Remove top; add crushed fruits and fruit juices; add grated rind, if desired. Finish freezing until firm. Remove the dasher and pack container; drain off water and repack with ice. Let stand until frozen hard. Note: If needed, homogenized milk can be added to finish filling container to the bottom of the top blade of the dasher.
