Flapjacks (simply baking)

Measure Ingredient
55 grams Unsalted butter; (2oz)
1 tablespoon Golden syrup
70 grams Dark brown sugar; (2 1/2oz)
119 grams Cooking oats; (4oz)
1 pinch Salt
1 teaspoon Mixed spice

Melt the butter, sugar and syrup in pan. Remove from the heat and stir in the oats, salt and mixed spice. Spoon the mixture into an 8 inch prepared tin.

Cook in the centre of a moderate oven 180øC/350øF/gas mark 4 for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Leave in the tin to cool slightly then cut into finger bars.
