Fettuccine marinara from lhj

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 tablespoons Olive oil
½ cup Sliced onion
1 teaspoon Minced garlic
¼ teaspoon Crushed red pepper
4 ounces Smoked ham; diced
1 cup Frozen peas
14 ounces Marinara sauce; jar
¼ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Freshly ground pepper
1 pounds Fettuccine or spaghetti; cooked according to package directions
¼ cup Chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley

1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and cook for 3 minutes. Stir in garlic, red pepper and ham; cook 2 minutes more. Add peas and marinara sauce; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Stir in salt and pepper.

2. Toss sauce with hot pasta and parsley in a serving bowl.
