1 teaspoon | Minced garlic |
¼ teaspoon | Crushed red pepper |
4 ounces | Smoked ham; diced |
1 cup | Frozen peas |
14 ounces | Marinara sauce; jar |
¼ teaspoon | Salt |
¼ teaspoon | Freshly ground pepper |
1 pounds | Fettuccine or spaghetti; cooked according to package directions |
¼ cup | Chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley |
1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and cook for 3 minutes. Stir in garlic, red pepper and ham; cook 2 minutes more. Add peas and marinara sauce; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Stir in salt and pepper.
2. Toss sauce with hot pasta and parsley in a serving bowl.
