1 cup | Brown sugar; packed |
1 cup | White sugar |
2 \N | Eggs |
1 teaspoon | Vanilla extract |
1½ cup | All-purpose flour |
1 teaspoon | Salt |
1 teaspoon | Baking soda |
3 cups | Oats; quick cooking |
Mix, using usual method for cookies (cream shortening and sugars, and eggs, mix, add dry ing.) Place on ungreased sheets, bake at 350 degrees 10-12 minutes. Here is my favorite recipe for chewy oatmeal cookies.
