Fauxe boursin

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
8 ounces Cream cheese
1 tablespoon Fresh Thyme -- finely
\N \N Chopped
2 tablespoons Lemon juice
1 \N Garlic clove -- minced
1½ teaspoon Fresh tarragon -- finely
\N \N Chopped
2 \N Shallots -- finely chopped
¼ cup Parsley -- finely chopped
1 tablespoon Chives -- finely chopped

Cream the cheese with the lemon juice. Add the garlic, the shallots and the herbs. Pack into a crock and chill until ready to serve. Or, mold as follows: line an empty 8-oz margarine tub with plastic wrap, pack in the cheese and chill. When ready to serve, remove from tub, peel off wrap and garnish on a plate.

Serving Ideas : Serve with unflavored cracker such as Carr's water wafers
