Farmer's daughter dressing

Ingredients

| ½ | cup | Finely chopped garlic cloves |
| ½ | cup | Finely chopped onion |
| 2 | tablespoons | Salt |
| ⅓ | cup | Sugar |
| 1 | teaspoon | Prepared mustard |
| 1 | teaspoon | White pepper |
| 1 | quart | Salad oil |
| 3 | cups | White vinegar |
Directions
Beat ingredients except oil and vinegar to a thick paste, approximately 10 minutes. Add 1 cup oil until mixture emulsifies.
Add oil and vinegar alternately, beating vigorously.
Makes 2 quarts.
