Cherry custard tart

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 \N Egg white beaten
½ cup Fresh breadcrumbs
3 cups Tart red cherries
1 cup Sour or whipping cream
2 \N Eggs
1 \N Egg yolk
½ cup Granulated sugar

Preheat oven to 425 F. Brush pie shell with egg white and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Scatter cherries on top. Beat together cream,eggs, egg yolk and sugar. Pour over cherries. Bake for 25 minutes or until the filling is browned and slightly puffy.
