Ella julia's rhubarb dessert

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 tablespoon Sugar
1 cup Flour
1 teaspoon Baking powder
½ teaspoon Salt
2 tablespoons Shortening
1 Egg; beaten
1 tablespoon Rich milk or cream; (or a little more if needed)

Mix into a tight dough. Wet spoon and press dough into baking dish. Cover with 3 cups cut up rhubarb. Now sprinkle over it all with 1 package of pink gelatin (dry).

Then mix together: 1 cup sugar

½ cup butter

½ cup flour

Mix together and pour over gelatin. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees F..

Serve warm or with whipped cream.
