Measure Ingredient
2 quarts Cabbage -- shredded
1 cup Celery -- chopped fine
1 \N Whole green pepper --
\N \N Chopped fine
1 cup Onion -- chopped fine
1 cup Carrot -- shredded
4 cups Water
2 tablespoons Salt
1 cup Vinegar
1 cup Water
2 cups Sugar

mix all veggies together sprinkle w/ 2 tablespoons salt and cover w/ 4 cups of water. let sit for 1 hour then drain. Boil 1 cup water,1 cup vinegar, and 2 cups sugar. let cool the pour over vegetables. mix well and store in glass jars, covered tightly, in refrigerator.
