½ cup | Butter |
1 teaspoon | Baking powder |
1 teaspoon | Baking soda |
½ teaspoon | Salt |
1 teaspoon | Cinnamon |
½ teaspoon | Nutmeg |
2¼ cup | Flour |
¾ cup | Sour milk |
½ cup | Pecans or walnuts |
1) Cream butter and sugar well. 2) Combine dry ingredients and add alternately with milk to butter/sugar mixture.
3) Add the nuts and put in a well greased 8 x 8 inch pan.
4) Bake at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes.
