Eggless sponge cake

Yield: 8 Servings

Measure Ingredient
200 grams Sweetened condensed milk
140 grams Self-raising flour
60 millilitres Melted butter or margarine
1 teaspoon (level) baking powder
½ teaspoon Baking soda
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

1. Sieve the flour, baking powder and baking soda together.

2. Mix the ingredients together, add 75ml water and beat well.

3. Grease and dust a 6 inch diameter cake tin. Pour the mixture into the prepared tin and bake in the pre-heated oven at 400F for 10 mins.

Thereafter reduce the temp to 300F and bake for a further 10 mins. Cool the cake.
