Ingredients

| 1 | Stick oleo or margarine | |
| ½ | cup | Flour |
| 2 | Carrots, diced | |
| 1 | medium | To large onion, diced |
| 2 | Celery stalks, diced | |
| 2 | mediums | Potatoes, diced |
| 1 | pack | Frozen mixed vegetables |
| 1 | can | Tomatoes (15-20 oz.) |
| 4 | Beef bouillon cubes | |
| Salt, pepper and garlic salt or garlic to taste | ||
Directions
In dutch oven size pan melt margarine. Add flour and stir until smooth. Add 2 cups water, stir until smooth. Add 3 cups more water, carrots, celery,potatoes, mixed vegetables, tomatoes, bouillon cubes, salt, pepper and garlic. In separate pan brown meat and cook onion. Drain. Add to dutch oven. Simmer 1½ hours. Freezes well.
