Dubby's rib rub

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
¼ cup Salt; (I used reduced sodium)
¼ cup Celery salt; (I used celery 1/8 cup celery seed)
¼ cup Garlic salt; (I used 1/8 cup garlic powder)
¼ cup Onion salt; (I used 1/8 cup onion powder)
1 cup Sugar
½ cup Paprika
3 tablespoons Black pepper
2 tablespoons Chili powder
1 teaspoon Cumin
½ teaspoon Cayenne

This is what I used today... suppose to be a good substitute for Willingham's W'ham Seasoning - Original Mild, which if you want, call 1-800-737-WHAM.

Mix well.. will coat 6 lbs. of ribs lightly.

Source: Cut-N-Shoot BBQ Team (Texas) Hi Ferg...

It's a very good rub, BUT... is everyone listening?... I just tasted the almost final product, and it's too salty. Cut the salt in the recipe by half! And that's not just because I'm on a low sodium diet. Other than that, it'll work just dandy. Right now, those ribs are 'glazing-in-the-grass' with TGIFriday's Jack Daniel's Glaze sans Jack Daniels. As Rock knows full well, I don't drink...

Jack Daniels.
