Double choco-cherry rum balls

6ouncesSemisweet chocolate chips
3tablespoonsLight corn syrup
¼cupRum
¼cupGinger ale
ounceChocolate wafers; crushed
1cupNuts; finely chopped
½cupPowdered sugar
¼cupMaraschino cherries; chopped

Directions

Melt chocolate. Stir in corn syrup, rum and ginger ale. In large bowl, mix together the crumbs, nuts, powdered sugar and cherries. Add hocolate mixture. Stir until well blended. Let stand 30 minutes. Shape into 1" balls and roll in sugar.
