¼ | pint | Strong black coffee; (up to 1/2) |
3 | tablespoons | Whiskey or any liqueur |
75 | grams | (3oz) butter or marg. |
75 | grams | (3oz castor sugar |
100 | grams | (4oz) ground almonds |
1 | Egg yolk | |
¼ | pint | Cream |
Directions
Make coffe & allow to cool.
Cream butter & sugar until creamy.
Add egg yolk, almonds, cream and whiskey slowly.
Dunk biscuits quickly in dish in cool coffee.
Mix alternate layers of biscuits with butter/cream mixture ending with biscuits.
Freeze now!
Allow a few hours to defrost.
