Dolores restaurant brandy sauce

Yield: 8 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Sugar
1 tablespoon Cornstarch
¼ teaspoon Salt
1 tablespoon Butter
1 cup Boiling Water
¼ cup Brandy

Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt. Add butter and boiling water. Mix well and cook together 6 mins or until clear. Add brandy after you remove saucepan from heat. Serve warm over cake or pudding. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
