Baked liver with apples

Ingredients

| 1 | pounds | Beef liver; sliced |
| 2 | mediums | Apples; chopped |
| 1 | medium | Onion; chopped |
| 1½ | teaspoon | Salt |
| ⅛ | teaspoon | Pepper |
| 6 | slices | Bacon; cut in pieces |
| ¼ | cup | Water; or beef bouillon |
Directions
Place liver in greased shallow casserole. cover with apples, onion, salt, and pepper. Top with bacon pieces and add liquid. Bake, covered, at 325 degrees for 1-½ hours, removing cover during last 20 minutes of baking.
