Baked liver with apples

Ingredients

1poundsBeef liver; sliced
2mediumsApples; chopped
1mediumOnion; chopped
teaspoonSalt
teaspoonPepper
6slicesBacon; cut in pieces
¼cupWater; or beef bouillon

Directions

Place liver in greased shallow casserole. cover with apples, onion, salt, and pepper. Top with bacon pieces and add liquid. Bake, covered, at 325 degrees for 1-½ hours, removing cover during last 20 minutes of baking.
