24 ounces | Semi-sweet chocolate baking chips -plus- |
1 | 3-ounce cake of paraffin OR- |
24 ounces of melting chocolate in which case paraffin should be omitted. |

USE AS DESIRED
Mix butter and milk. With spoon or hands, work in sugar and vanilla. Divide dough into 4 portions. Flavor and add desired ingredients. Chill. Form dough into balls or roll into logs. Chill again.
In the top of a double boiler over simmering water, melt chocolate chips with paraffin (or melt the melting chocolate). Stir well.
With a skewer, dip balls into chocolate mixture. Let drip, then place on waxed paper to harden. Decorate if desired. Chill. Makes 200 pieces of candy.
