Rich chocolate truffles

Ingredients

QuantityIngredient
4ouncesSemisweet chocolate, broken into small pieces
1tablespoonLiqueur of your choice - Grand Marnier or Cointreau, or Tia Maria, Chocolate Almond, etc.
2cupsConfectioner's sugar, sifted
½cupUnsalted butter, softened slightly
2tablespoonsInstant chocolate milk mix (or cocoa powder)

Directions

Melt the chocolate over low heat. Remove from heat and beat in the liqueur, confectioner's sugar and butter until smooth. If necessary, add a little more confectioner's sugar to give a firm paste. Divide into 24 pieces and shape into balls. Roll each one in the instant chocolate milk mix until completely covered, then place in paper candy cases.
