Date-nut torte

Measure Ingredient
2 tablespoons Bread crumbs
8 Egg yolks
1¼ cup Sugar
2 cups Chopped walnuts or pecans
2 cups Chopped dates
4 tablespoons Flour
8 Egg whites -- stiffly

Grease a 9-inch spring-form pan and dust it with the bread crumbs.

Beat the egg yolks; gradually add the sugar. Beat until thick.
